Jakob Nielsen’s Site

Jakob Nielsen was Sun’s chief Web site architect until July 1998. His research, books, and articles on Web design and usability are provocative, intelligent and highly recommended. His current book, Designing Web Usability: The Practice of Simplicity, is the best book on Web design I know. Here are some of his most popular articles if you want to get a taste of his style:
